To Market We Go | Boss Is A Four Letter Word

My Favorite Boss

If I can be frank, out of all the bosses I’ve had, my favorite one is the one pictured above. I love being my own boss, so much so, that I made the decision to, once again, retire from teaching. I will certainly miss my colleagues and the students that I’ve worked with for the past 3 years, but it is time to devote 100% of my attention back to Taylor Digital Marketing.

Looking Back

The last two months have certainly not been easy, in fact, they’ve been downright hectic and trying. Juggling our own kids’ distance learning, teaching students via Zoom, cooking meals, washing dishes 24/7, cleaning and running two businesses has left us quite exhausted and quite gray. Hoping the grays will be eradicated sooner than later. Let’s get the lead out, Gavin.

Looking Forward

Although the days, since the fateful Friday the 13th, have been hectic, they’ve also been truly rewarding. I had a front row seat to witness the contagion of kindness. I’ve been able to highlight some fantastic people and businesses. {Check back next week for another South Bay spotlight!} And, I’ve been honing my digital marketing skills - learning all I can about IGTV, Google AdWords, e commerce and devouring articles about local SEO.

What’s Next?

Wouldn’t we all like to know what the coming months will look like? What I do know is this: I am hopeful for the future. I am going to enjoy sunny days at the beach. I am going to relish time with my family and fur baby, Henry. I will keep learning and working hard.
